Who says you can’t eat comfort food and still eat gluten-free?
1 pkg gluten-free pasta noodles
1 lb sirloin steak, cut into one-inch strips (or 1 lb ground beef – see below)
1 medium onion
several fresh mushrooms, sliced, or 1 can sliced mushrooms
1 lb container sour cream
1 tsp seasoning salt
Boil pasta noodles about 7 minutes. At the same time, sauté onion in a frying pan with a small amount of oil for about 3 minutes. Add sirloin strips and brown on each side. Add mushrooms. Stir and cook until steak is done to your liking. Add sour cream and seasoning.
Pour sauce over pasta and serve.
To use ground beef instead of steak, brown 1 lb ground beef with onions and mushrooms. Drain. Add sour cream and seasoning.
