1/2 cup gluten-free all purpose baking flour
1/2 cup almond meal/flour
1 cup gluten-free oats
1-1/2 cups sugar
1-1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1-1/2 cubes cold butter or 3/4 cup shortening and 1/4 teaspoon salt for casein-free
5 pounds sliced green apples (or any apples you like)
Add flours, oats, sugar and cinnamon to mixing bowl. Cut in margarine (or shortening) with a pastry cutter until mix resembles course crumbs. Pour half of the mix over sliced apples and mix together. Put apple mixture in a buttered 9×13 baking pan. Pour remaining mix over the top. Bake at 350 degrees for about 45 to 50 minutes.
